United Colors of Benetton supports the Unemployees of the Year

by Megan Meagher

Following up their "unhate" campaign, United Colors of Benetton takes on a new social issue in the 100 million young people (15-29) who are unemployed. "Unemployee of the Year" seeks to help today's youth enter the job market. On Unhatefoundation.org users can create a profile and an "un-work experience" resume.

And similar to efforts like the Pepsi Refresh Project, there is a crowdsourcing element where people can submit ideas for projects that need financing. At the end of October 100 people will get $6,500 each to fund their passion project.
