Nike's new Turbospeed suit claims to make runners .023 seconds faster over 100 meters. Thousands of hours of wind tunnels tests went into the creation of the suit. The result were aerodynamic dimples, similar to those on a golfball, which reduce drag on shoulders, arms and calves where resistance is strongest. See the Turbospeed's debut at the 2012 London Olympics.
It's eco-friendly too. Each suit is made from the equivalent of 13 plastic bottles. Via Fast Co Design.
