Lamppost flyers still thrive in the digital age

Lamppost signs are a staple of most modern cities - announcing lost pets, new apartments, moving sales and more. But in Berlin, the form of communication takes on a whole new level. According to Berliner Joab Nist "They in some way allow a deep insight of the soul of the city. These are real treasures that need to be documented, because it's part of our everyday life culture." One recent note, for example, was posted by 29-year-old Maira Becke - "A HORRIBLE ACCIDENT HAS HAPPENED." To find out what that accident was, you'll have to read the rest of the story.
