Canada Rebranded

by Megan Meagher

Canada's rep with Americans is fuzzy. The nation typically conjures up images of hockey, maple leaves and moose. Canada takes us to task with the site KnowCanada.org, just in time for Canada Day on July 1st. The branding takes the familiar red stripes of the Canadian flag and puts lesser known facts, celebrities and icons in place of the maple leaf, successfully challenging our notion of the great country upstairs.

Caption reads: Peanut Butter was invented in Canada.
