An unlikely expansion as FedEx launches PC repair service

As delivery activity has cooled along with the economy, especially in former hotspots India and China, FedEx has unveiled TechConnect Repair- a service with 3 day turnaround for PC repair and similarly quick fixes for consumer devices such as the iPad and the Nook.

While the service may seem out of left field to some, it is actually a natural move as FedEx has been repairing their own devices internally for quite some time and much of the necessary infrastructure is built in.
